How do I recall a box in storage?
If you need your things back, simply log into your Space account and find the box you wish to recall. Tap the "Request" button and select the corresponding address.
If you are requesting a box to a new address, tap the plus sign above the list of existing addresses. Enter the new address information, give it a name (i.e. "College Dorm"), and then select "Add."
Once you have carefully reviewed the details for your recalled box, select "Confirm."
How do I order another Space box?
If you already have a Space account, simply log in to the web app or our iOS app.
• In the web app, select the "Order Space Boxes" button, and proceed through the checkout process.
• In the iOS app, tap the plus sign at the bottom of the screen and proceed through the checkout process.
Space is designed to be flexible with your life as your needs change. When placing an order for more boxes, the amount charged will be prorated based on the subscription renewal date of your first box(es). This way, you will only receive one invoice per month, no matter how many times you order a new box!
How do I cancel a Space box?
If you no longer need a particular Space box, simply log into your account and select the box you wish to cancel from the "My Space" page. Tap on the three dots within the box details screen and select "Delete box." (See the screenshots below.)
Important Notes:
You can only cancel a box that is in your possession. You cannot cancel a box that is currently in storage or in transit.
If you cancel a box, you will be unable to send it back into storage.
Your monthly subscription for any cancelled box will automatically be cancelled as well.
My Space Box is showing some wear & tear. What do I do?
Our Space boxes are specially engineered to be durable and reusable. However, even the sturdy Space box has its limits. Depending on your box's weight and distance traveled, it may start to show some wear and tear after a couple of round trips. In order to ensure the safety of your belongings while in transit and storage, it's a good idea to order a replacement box if you think your box's integrity is compromised.
If you decide that a recalled box needs to be replaced, you need to cancel it (as detailed above). Once your old box is cancelled, simply order a new Space box (instructions here). And you don't need to worry about being overcharged, as any subsequent Space box subscriptions are pro-rated based on the subscription renewal date for your first Space order.
What do I do with my Space boxes when I no longer need them?
If you recall a box and will not be re-packing it with other items for storage, you need to cancel your box subscription so you do not continue to be charged. We strongly recommend you re-purpose or recycle the box, if possible. The process for canceling a box is detailed in the above instructions.
